Well….I have sad news.
I had to submit a gain of weight for this week. 6.1 lbs. I know several of us struggled being out of town/on vacation so hopefully we can step it up for next week.
WHO'S WITH ME???!?!?!!! How about some ideas/support on how we could do this on the blog? (I'll post this message there in a sec.)
6714 – Start Weight
6637 – 77 lbs lost – 1.16%
6604 – 36 lbs lost for the week, 113 total – 1.68%
6610 – 6 lbs. GAINED for the week, 109 lbs. lost total – 1.62% (3/15 Week 3)
THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE
Drink 1/2 your weight in oz. of water EVERY DAY.
So, in example, for me this would be approximately 110 oz. every day.
I'm going to be checking on you next week to see how you're doing with this.
Comment from Wanda Miller:
ReplyDeleteOne way to support: If you are struggling in a particular area....Post it on the blog; and others can give tips that they have found helpful.
I am struggling with limiting sweets from diet. I have started preparing healthy fruit smoothies to see if this will eliminate the cravings for cookies and cake.
So, far this week, I only had 2 small cookies. I think I reached for them out of habit…..my kids reminded me that I was not supposed to have it! Leave it to kids!!
If you have other ideas to help me; please share.
I will drink more WATER and be more MINDFUL!

Great suggestion Wanda. Isn't it wonderful when our families become our healthy choice accountability partners! My family saves me from myself all the time ;-)Stay away from those girl scout cookies! I know you can do it.
ReplyDeletea few other ideas to avoid sweets…..
ReplyDeletechew gum
Brush your teeth often (if you're like me, once you brush your teeth you don't like to ruin the pureness of a brush so you'll avoid putting the sweets in-plus apparently it tricks your brain into thinking you've ate – the motion on your teeth I mean)
